What are the steps to create a bespoke album?
La conception d'un album suit un processus précis et bien établi en 5 étapes majeures :
1. Écoute et analyse de vos besoins, de vos envies
2. Proposition visuelle (matière, gravure, dorure, ornement,...) et tarifaire
3. Achat des matières premières
4. Conception de l'album
5. Livraison de l'album.
Les œuvres (dessins et/ou peintures) peuvent être réalisées en parallèle et/ou après la conception de l'album.
Where are Vita Luminis albums made?
In our workshops in France or Italy, depending on the finish you choose.
How long does it take to create an album?
It mainly depends on complexity — album alone, slipcase or box — and the level of personalisation (materials, ornament, gilding…).
Is the album delivered with all artworks?
Album craft and artworks are separate. The album is made with slots so drawings can be added as they are completed.
Can I contact the artists myself?
Absolutely. We share our roster of illustrators and painters, and can also help you choose the right technique.
Must albums only depict luxury objects?
You decide both container and content — loved ones, pets, houses… Coherence within one album is recommended.
Are there constraints for creating an album?
Albums are 100% customisable. Artworks should be A4, ideally landscape.
